A bratwurst,knackwurst,and mieswurst,a mild pork sausage. I ordered the Munich platter consisting of. For $16.95 my wife had the Jaeger Schnitzel served with red cabbage and dumplings. While we sampled 3 different warm breads with butter we chose the best beer for the meal. We started with a flight of 7 German/Austrian beers that focused our tastes on. Jonathon,our waiter,made several excellent suggestions that we followed that enhanced the experience. We had a taste for something different than the standard fare available and were completely satisfied by our choice. One last note, the portions were large enough, we both brought home leftovers. She also checked back with us to see how our meal was going, etc.Ī nice surprise was the live accordian (sp?) music! She helped us thru the menu, paid particular attention to my wife's dairy allergy, and made suggestion. She was able to order what she wanted and they modified the preparation of one of the side dishes. The manage came to our table twice to speak with my wife and discuss her dinner options.
My wife has a food allergy and they expertly handled her situation. The only down side to this place, is that is a little small for their popularity. There is also a beer 'garden' (patio) that would be helpful when the weather is warmer. My pint of beer was $8 with tax (might be the most expensive beer I have had in MB?). is small, but they have a nice selection of German beers on draft and in bottles. This past Saturday, we went and had about a 15 minute wait. On Valentine's Day I tried to get a reservation but was unsuccessful. We moved to Myrtle Beach almost 5 years ago and have discussed trying this restaurant for some time.
